German cockroaches live in the warm, tight, dark gaps: the motor housing of the dishwasher, the hinge recesses, the gap behind the kickboard, the meter box. We place gel into those voids and treat the harbourage points rather than fogging the room, so the ones you never see carry it back. American cockroaches coming up from the sewer or the roof void get a different treatment again, so we work out which you have before we start.

Is the gel safe around children and pets?
It goes inside voids and hinge recesses that neither can reach, and it is placed as small beads rather than sprayed. We will point out every placement before we leave so you know where they are.
Why did the numbers go up for a few days?
That is normal on a gel job. The bait draws them out of the harbourage before it works through the population, so you see more for two or three days and then a sharp drop.
Do I need to throw food out?
No. Wipe down the benches and keep open packets sealed for a week. We do not treat food preparation surfaces, so nothing needs to be discarded.
