Since 2011
Wes spent eleven years as a carpenter on renovations across the northside before he ever held a pest licence. He kept opening up the same houses and finding the same thing behind the cabinets: a gap. A weep hole rendered over, a slab edge that had never been sealed, a door frame packed with foam that had gone brittle in the Queensland sun. The pest bloke would arrive, spray the skirting boards, be gone in fifteen minutes and never once walk the outside of the house. In 2011 Wes got his licence, put a torch and a moisture meter in the ute and started Fenceline out of the garage at Albany Creek.
We stayed on the northside because we live on it. Albany Creek sits between the creek flats and the bushland at Bunyaville, and that edge is the reason this pocket gets the ant and termite pressure it does. Coastal brown ants push up through the slab in the dry months, and the wet brings everything else in off the reserve. If you have been through a summer here you already know the pattern.
